A Letter from Pastor Jerry

We are in a crisis – The Generational De-construction of the family..

This crisis will not change unless it is interrupted and led to change.

Even now, the outcome of broken kids, from broken families, in a broken world is causing havoc in our churches, cities, schools and communities. Employers are finding it harder and harder to hire respectful, faithful, responsible and hardworking workers.

Each year, literally millions of local and state tax dollars are being used to fund the “crisis of consequence” as a result of un-fathered and at-risk boys and girls growing up in unstable environments. The crisis of consequence shows itself within the  nationwide increases in substance abuse, depression, anxiety, aggression, juvenile detention, school dropout rates, and suicide.

Far too many un-fathered and at-risk children are growing up with a F.E.A.R. that many in previous generations never had to face. Kids growing up without a father in their home often face:

  • Financial instability and generational poverty.
  • Emotional imbalance without knowledge of healthy coping mechanisms.
  • Academic apathy leading to failure.
  • Relational dysfunction and disrespect for authority.

Far too many children are being defined by their environment rather than by the God who created them.  The Bible says,  “Where there is no prophetic vision (i.e. God’s Word) the people cast off for restraint, but blessed is he who keeps the law (i.e. God’s Word)” Proverbs 29:18

Casting off restraint IS the “Crisis of Consequence”.

We invite you to join us in this fight for our children and for our future families and generations.
