Theme Bible Verse:
“His delight is not in the strength of the horse, nor his pleasure in the legs of a man, but the Lord takes pleasure in those who fear him, in those who hope in his steadfast love.” Psalm 147:10-11
It’s easy to see why an athlete who desires to compete at the highest level would commit to skill and strength training and conditioning. But what of his soul? What about the core of his identity? What kind of teammate is he? Is he a “me, my, I” player or a team player? Will he lead or follow? What about his purpose outside of sports? What is the fuel that keeps him going when times are tough? Where is he going in life and what is his plan to get there?
In this Leadership Conference you will be challenged and encouraged to consider looking at your life from different vantage points. It will be engaging and a lot of fun!
